The Dustbowl Revival : Two Nights In Seattle!

American Standard Time highly recommends this Venice Beach, Cali band on tour in Seattle for two nights, tonight and tomorrow. Check 'em out. Thank us later
We recommend The Dustbowl Revival not just because of their affinity for new depression blues, dusty ballads about cats, and jams about Dan, but because Zach Lupetin can really sing and front this hillbilly-jazz orchestra who are known to rock a rowdy show. They play Lucid in the U District tonight, and Conor Byrne in Ballad on Friday.
You've heard some spins on Roadhouse Radio, now go check them out. Similar to the new New Orleans scene of young DYI street-folk jazz bands, Dustbowl makes a joyful noise blending all the traditions into one loose celebration of American song. And did I say Zach can sing? Yes I did. Honestly, the guy must have a theatre background as he delivers the most sough-after component to any band- vocals! The band is killer too.
Lupetin's intention is to build a roots super-group. We say "Trad on Son, Trad on!"
"Holy Ghost Station"
"Dan's Jam"
